The people plan is a written “roadmap” that utilizes the objectives generated in the growth plan coupled with the existing level of talent and talent “gaps” in the company.
This provides guidance and focus to the HR team in recruiting and selecting people for key, high leverage positions as well as developmental needs that are or will be vital to the company in the future.
