People Growth Objectives

Prosperous companies understand that the best plans in the world will not become reality without excellent people to execute the plan! People strategy is a process that begins with clear organizational objectives and asks four key questions:

• Do we know the critical competencies our people will need, at all levels, to successfully execute our Growth plan?

• Do we have those talents now?

• Do we need to attract talent from outside or do we have potential to develop it from within our existing people?

• How are we developing “bench strength” in these critical areas?

While this process begins with senior management, it is important to look at the entire organization through the competency lens and understand what must be improved at all levels for our goals to be realized.
